Hypertension is a condition of raised blood pressure.

Losartan, valsartan and candesartan which are angiotensin-II Receptor antagonists can be used in treatment of hypertension.

Calcium Channel blockers such as Amlodipine, Diltiazem Hydrochloride, Nicardipine Hydrochloride, and Nifedipine can be used in treating hypertension.

Doxazosin, Prazosin, and Terazosin (Alpha-adrenoceptor blockers) are used in the treatment of hypertension.

Vasodilator medicines such as Hydralazine Hydrochloride and Sodium Nitroprusside are used in the treatment of hypertension.

Methyldopa which is Centrally acting antihypertensive medicnes are used for treatment of hypertension.
